  • One-time payment

Buy it once. No monthly fees, no credits, no tiers that expire.

  • Fully local

Controller, voice and traffic run on your own PC after a one-time setup. No cloud dependency in flight.

  • Yours for life

Install it, keep it and fly it for as long as you want. It never stops working because a plan ran out.

High-intelligence ATC

One controller. Every aircraft. Every airport, alive.

SkyMate Control doesn't just talk to you. It runs the whole airport. Your aircraft and every AI aircraft share the same controller, the same runways and the same plan, so the traffic around you stops being decoration and starts being traffic.

  1. 01Sequencing

Departures and arrivals are slotted into one runway sequence. You'll be number two behind the 737, and the 737 knows it too.

  2. 02Routes

Taxi routes, departures, arrivals and vectors are issued to AI traffic and actually followed, with the same discipline expected of you.

  3. 03Conflicts

Runway incursions, converging traffic and spacing losses are detected and solved with real instructions: hold short, go around, turn now.

One continuous flight

The right controller at every phase.

SkyMate Control follows the operational flow of a real flight instead of treating every radio call as an isolated conversation.

01

Clearance

Brief the flight, receive routing, altitude and squawk, then complete the readback.

02

Ground

Request startup or pushback and follow taxiways, crossings and hold-short instructions.

03

Tower

Join the runway sequence as departures and arrivals shape your takeoff or landing clearance.

04

Departure & center

Fly climbs, vectors, direct-to instructions and altitude changes across controller handoffs.

05

Approach

Continue through arrival and approach to landing, runway exit and taxi to parking.

Choose how you fly

IFR structure or VFR freedom. Control understands both.

The setup changes with your flight rules, while the same controller, traffic and simulator awareness remain with you.

IFRSimBrief flight plan

A planned flight, carried through every phase.

Control starts from your operational flight plan and keeps its route and destination context throughout the session.

  • Import the active SimBrief operational flight plan.
  • Build the clearance around route, procedures, initial climb and squawk.
  • Carry flight-plan context through controller and frequency handoffs.
VFRNo SimBrief required

Start local. Fly visually.

Begin without an IFR plan. Your aircraft, callsign, departure airport and live simulator state shape the session.

  • Start with your callsign, aircraft and departure airport.
  • Work airport frequencies and surface instructions without an IFR route.
  • Use live aircraft state and flight phase to keep controller context relevant.

Operational by design

More than a voice on the radio.

The controller, airport, traffic and your aircraft state work as one system.

Natural radio calls

Use clear aviation language without memorizing a command tree. See what was heard and when the controller is preparing a response.

Traffic that participates

Nearby aircraft request clearance, taxi, depart and arrive under the same controller instead of acting as background decoration.

Controller continuity

Move from ground to tower, departure, center and approach with the correct facility, frequency and flight context.

Airport-aware taxi

Receive taxiways, runway crossings and hold-short instructions shaped by airport geometry and active traffic.

A controller that follows the flight

Position, altitude, route, runway state and earlier readbacks remain part of the conversation as the flight develops.

IFR and VFR from preflight

Import a SimBrief operational flight plan for IFR or start VFR with your aircraft, callsign and departure context.

Limitations

Good control starts with good simulator data.

SkyMate Control relies on data provided by your simulator. Airport data, and airspace data in some countries, can be incomplete or inaccurate. This can occasionally cause aircraft to get stuck or behave unexpectedly.

We’re committed to our community. We review reported issues, investigate their causes, and work on fixes wherever possible. If something goes wrong, please share the details with us so we can keep improving Control.

Download & setup guide

From download to your first flight.

You’ll need a Windows PC, MSFS 2020/2024 or X-Plane 11/12, a microphone and internet access for installation and model downloads.

Try the full app free for five days. When your trial ends, app access stops. Purchase a license to keep flying.

  1. Download the Windows installer

Download only from the official SkyMate website using Chrome or Firefox. Save the .exe installer to Downloads or your Desktop. When it finishes, open that folder and double-click the SkyMate-ATC-Setup installer.

  2. Install and complete setup

Open the installer and follow its prompts. Launch SkyMate Control, keep your internet connection active while the AI models download, then select your microphone and bind push-to-talk.

  3. Connect your simulator and fly

Launch your supported simulator and complete the guided connection checks. Choose IFR or VFR, confirm your aircraft and callsign, then start your session. Already licensed? Activate your license in the app.

Keep Windows Defender enabled. You do not need to change your security settings to install SkyMate Control.

Does Windows show “Windows protected your PC”?

SmartScreen may show an “unrecognized app” warning when a downloaded installer has not yet built a reputation. This is different from an antivirus detecting a specific threat.

  1. Check that you downloaded the installer from the official SkyMate website. Our download link uses license.skymate.tech.
  2. For the “Windows protected your PC” message, select “More info” to review the app details.
  3. “Run anyway” may then appear. Use it only after checking the source and only if no specific threat has been detected. If it is unavailable, contact support.
  4. Follow the installation wizard. If Windows asks for permission, check the program name before continuing. Launch SkyMate Control and complete the guided setup.

How do I get SkyMate Control?

SkyMate Control is available now. Download the Windows installer and purchase your lifetime license in the store. SkyMate Control supports MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024, X-Plane 12 and X-Plane 11.

Is it a subscription?

No. SkyMate Control is a one-time payment. Pay once, fly forever: no monthly fees, no credits and no plan that expires.

Which simulators are supported?

SkyMate Control supports MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024, X-Plane 12 and X-Plane 11.

Does it really control the AI aircraft too?

Yes. Every participating aircraft receives and follows the same controller's instructions, so sequencing, routing and conflict resolution apply to the whole airport, not only to you.

Is SkyMate Control an online ATC network?

No. It is a single-player ATC system for your simulator session, available whenever you want to fly and without waiting for a human controller to come online.

Does it support both IFR and VFR?

Yes. IFR flights can use a SimBrief operational flight plan, while VFR flights can begin with a callsign and local flight context.

Do I need to use exact scripted phrases?

No. Use clear aviation language as you would on frequency. The radio view shows what Control heard and gives visible feedback while your transmission is handled.

Does it require an internet connection during flight?

The core radio, controller and voice systems run on your PC after first-time setup and model installation, so your flights do not depend on a cloud service.

Will there be videos and tutorials?

Yes. The first VFR and IFR flight videos are already published in the videos section, and setup walkthroughs and phraseology tutorials follow.

Why don’t I see any traffic in my simulator?

MSFS 2024 & 2020: Requires the FSLTL traffic library. Disable all native traffic in the simulator settings. X-Plane 12 & 11: Requires the BlueBell traffic library. Disable all native traffic in the simulator settings.

ATC is taking too long to reply. Why?

Check your app settings and make sure the AI models are running on your GPU for faster responses. Also confirm that the correct microphone is selected, then review the system requirements.

Where can I contact support?
